Does anyone have it? How do you deal with it?
although i don't have it, my mom did and my best friend does. i know it is no fun at all!!!!!there are meds you can take to help nowadays. additionally, eating a high fiber diet can be of great benefit. you need to see a gastroenterologist. this is one of their specialties and know the most current information.
Thank you!q
There are also some natural remedies that you could do to relieve symptoms, too. i hear it is very painful. If you have it, my heart goes out to you. It is not fun at all.
Thank you!
I've had it for all most 33 years and still have trouble dealing with it, but have came a long ways as far as worrying about it all of the time. I guess it depends on what kind of mood I am in.
Yes, there is a lot of pain in volved.
I don't wish it upon anyone.
I am thankful though. There are a lot more worse things out there.I am pretty healthy and very thankful.
Talk later.
Even if you have had something for a long time, sometimes you get frustrated when you feel bad for prolonged periods. That is how i feel now. You know, I've felt bad for a long time, and dI look forward to having some relief, soon. No matter the condition that one has, it can get frustrating having to deal with the same things day in and day out. I can't say I know how you feel because I don't have your exact affliction, but what I can say is that I know how frustrating it can be to be in discomfort for prolong periods. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hi Aspie Geek Woman,
Thank you!
My prayers and thoughts are also with you.
have had IBS for about 60 years. as a baby, they thought I had a bowel tumor because I got so impacted. I am always on the look-out for impactions, but with the better medicines out there now, at least I am preventing the worst of the irritable bowel syndrome. Seeing a gastroenterologist is the best advice though; they can do tests and find out which medicine works best for you. It is a crummy problem to have though; you never know how you will feel or what your bowels will or won't do each day. My heart goes out to you.
Hi Bea,
